THE CURATED LANDSCAPE – SAN FRANCISCO PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following terms and conditions apply to The Curated Landscape’s San Francisco Photography Workshop, operated by Scott Reither LLC. By booking this workshop, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Deposit and Payment
   A deposit of 50% of the total cost of the workshop is required at the time of booking to secure your space and date. Once your deposit is paid, a contract comes into existence, and your place in the workshop is reserved. The deposit will be confirmed by email.

2. Balance Due
   The remaining balance is due by February 1st, 2025. If booking occurs after this date, the full amount is payable at the time of booking.

3. Refunds for Cancellations
   The deposit is considered non-refundable unless your spot can be filled by another paying participant. In this case, you will receive a full refund, minus a $250 administrative fee for processing the change.

4. Workshop Cancellations by Scott Reither LLC
   Scott Reither LLC reserves the right to cancel any workshop. If cancellation occurs before the workshop begins, you will receive a full refund. If the workshop must be canceled after it has begun, you may reschedule the remaining time or accept a refund for the unused portion. Scott Reither LLC is not responsible for any expenses incurred in preparation for the workshop, such as non-refundable airline tickets or other travel-related costs. We recommend waiting to purchase airfare until the minimum number of participants is confirmed.

5. Minimum Group Size
   This workshop requires a minimum of 3 participants to operate. If the minimum is not met, Scott Reither LLC may cancel the workshop up to 4 weeks before the start date. In the event of cancellation, all payments will be fully refunded, but Scott Reither LLC is not liable for any expenses incurred, such as airline tickets, visa or passport fees, or other travel-related expenses.

6. Non-Transferable Bookings
   Bookings are non-transferable between participants or workshops unless agreed upon in writing.

7. Itinerary Changes
   The workshop itinerary is subject to adjustments based on weather conditions, location availability, or other unforeseen circumstances. No refunds will be given for services not utilized due to these changes.

8. Flexibility Requirement
   Flexibility is essential for outdoor photography workshops. The provided itinerary serves as a guide and may change based on conditions such as weather and lighting.

9. Special Requests
   If you have dietary restrictions or other special requests, please inform us before the workshop begins. We will do our best to accommodate your needs, but no guarantees are made, and Scott Reither LLC holds no liability if requests are not met.

10. Liability
    Scott Reither LLC, field trip assistants, and cooperating agents aim to provide a safe, enjoyable, and educational experience. However, they assume no liability for any act, error, omission, injury, loss, or damage to persons or property during the workshop or in transit. Participants are responsible for obtaining their own travel and health insurance.

11. Good Faith Information
    All information provided regarding visas, vaccinations, climate, and equipment is offered in good faith.

12. Cancellation Due to Conditions
    If conditions necessitate changes or cancellations of any aspect of the workshop, Scott Reither LLC will offer a full refund for the canceled portion. This will be considered the full and final settlement.

13. Assumption of Risk
    By attending this workshop, you acknowledge that outdoor photography carries inherent risks, including but not limited to bodily injury, death, or property loss. Scott Reither LLC and its assistants assume no liability for such risks. Participants must be physically fit and capable of participating in outdoor photography activities.

14. Loss of Valuables
    Scott Reither LLC is not responsible for the loss of any valuables during the workshop, including camera equipment.

15. Participant Responsibility
    Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from San Francisco, except where scheduled airport pickup is provided. Participants must ensure they are physically capable of participating in all workshop activities.

16. Image Use
    Any images taken by participants during the workshop remain their intellectual property. By attending the workshop, you consent to Scott Reither LLC using images or videos taken of you during the workshop for marketing and promotional purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.

17. Meeting Times and Locations
    Meeting times and locations are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.

18. COVID-19 Policy
    Scott Reither LLC will comply with all applicable local COVID-19 policies during the workshop.

19. Agreement to Terms
    By booking this workshop, you confirm your acceptance of these terms and conditions on behalf of all individuals included in your booking.
